Description:

  • Experience in ETL & BI testing.
  • Strong in SQL preparation in Oracle/SQL Server/MySQL
  • Strong in ETL data validation using ETL, MFS & SQL queries Strong knowledge on ETL and BI processes Should have expertise on Unix Shell script command Experience in Functional, Regression Testing and UAT.
  • Excellent communication, documentation and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of Healthcare domain will be a huge plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a team of 5-7 ETL QA resources
  • Collaboratively elaborates analyze and estimates user requirements with the team · Defines and manages test plans, strategies, results reporting and metrics
  • Working with the team to design test scenarios, build automated scripts and data and execute the scripts
  • Validates test results and works with developers to research and resolve defects
  • Identifies appropriate test strategy mix of manual and automation testing methods (leveraging automation where possible)
  • Coordinates and plans test runs
  • Develop Requirement Traceability matrix
  • Creates and modifies detailed automated test scripts/modules
  • Works with test automation architect to expand and/or improve automation framework and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Prepare and share daily / weekly/monthly status reports with Senior executives

Skills:

  • Hands of experience on PL/SQL and Unix Commands
  • DWH (ETL & Reports) testing knowledge.
  • Good understanding on DWH
  • Excellent written / oral communication skills

One or more of following Tools experience:

  • Ab Initio, Informatica, DataStage, HP ALM, JIRA Control M/ Control Centre, Cognos, TOAD etc.

Description:

The Sr. Associate Testing designs and develops and executes quality assurance programs and policies. Tests and analyzes software to ensure compliance with specified standards and end-user requirements. Conducts test planning, writing test cases, test case automation, and test execution/defect tracking. Drafts, revises and approves test plans and scripts to ensure alignment with standards and IT strategy. Coordinates with users to plan user acceptance testing, alpha and beta testing. Plans, documents and directs system tests and resolves issues.

  • Oversees creation of testing strategies, plans and project documentation using risk analysis methodologies and tools, aligning with development approach/methodology selected for the project.
  • Manages creation, review and sign-off of testing documentation (e.g. test strategies, plans, schedule, cost estimates, test cases, dashboards, defect logs, test phase closure reports) and ensure all test artifacts adhere to testing standards and audit requirements.
  • Understands and communicates testing impact of scope changes / project change requests to the project management team both from a timeline/cost and a risk perspective.
  • Participates in test case creation and test case execution when required to ensure test teams meet project timelines and manage and support the team in creating reusable test assets for both manual and automated test scripts.
  • Responsible for planning, executing, and managing the overall success of the test execution
  • Responsible for the timely reporting of status and key challenges and offering alternative solutions/ work arounds to complete testing.
  • Conduct research and collection of relevant information and knowledge from internal resources to provide value-adding recommendations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Work Experience: 9+ Designing and implementing Software Testing teams and capabilities from scratch. Banking experience is preferred but not required.
  • 8+ years' experience in Functional testing experience in banking domain (auto financing is added value)
  • 4+ years' experience in C# based Selenium test automation.
  • Strong expertise and experience in industry test automation tools, implementing tool frameworks, industry best practice, and coding standards. Demonstrable experience of test automation using C#, Selenium, and Spec flow.
  • Experience in writing XPath expressions to identify web elements using Selenium Web Driver.
  • Experience in database query languages using MySQL for manual testing
  • Proficient in using Git and understanding of branching strategies.
  • Experience of testing Restful APIs/SOAP using POSTMAN.
  • Have experience in an environment which uses Business Driven Development (BDD)
  • Ability to evaluate and identify opportunities to improve technology performance.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload.
  • Ability to stay continuously informed on current leading-edge technologies industry trends.
  • Project management skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively.
  • Advanced knowledge of job area combining breadth and depth of experience.
